Today was a gain of .6 I still am not going to the bathroom right, so I no it's not fat I'm gaining. I was supposed to go to the gym and my plan got ruined by the bus. Yes, thats right... It's that damn bus's fault I'm fat today! =damn public transportation=
At any rate.
Today I did not have breakfast. For lunch I ate a 1/2 whole grain pita bread with 3 slices of turkey, mustard and raw spinach. I drank a glass of my mango juice from the Naked Brand. I had a honey crisp apple after that. (OMG best apple out there! I was in heaven)
For dinner I intend on having steamed green beans with corrot stick and maybe an orange today.
I know the calorie count is low, but it seems I am not as hungry as usual. Also, I hate the thought of continously putting food into my gullut for it to not come out... of either end. Lol.
I'm sure I will be Miralax'ing it tonight.

Healthy Living Day 3
The last 2 days i have been posting these blogs the morning after, but it's the same none the less. This was an ok day. I slept in and missed my yogalates class. I'm not too worried though because my arms are sore beyond belief. I can barely lift a cigarette to my fat mouth.
Still constipated.
Todays menu was-
Breakfast- 3 hardboiled egg whites (NO yolks), small glass of juice
Lunch- Turkey on what pits with raw spinach and mustard, water.
Snack- 1 orange
Dinner- 3oz chicken breast, 1 carrot stick, 1/2 lemon
Snack- 2 carrot sticks, 2 pickle spears, few bites of brown and wild grain rice (only a few bites because the wild grain part of it looked like dead bugs so i chose not to eat it)
My night tine snack was large because for some reason my body was craving something. It wasn't a normal "junk food" craving, but, instead, a type of 'I need some sort of nutient I am not getting' craving. I badly wanted to give into something hearty, but I didn't and instead loaded up on carrot sticks.
Todays weight was a gain of 2lbs.

Healthy Living Day 2
Today I went to Zumba class at the gym. I felt very out of place there. I was the fattest person there. I couldn't keep up with the steps, and I kept ketting so out of breath and dizzy I thought I was going to pass out. But I stuck it out and stayed the entire hour.
Today's weight was the same as yesterday. I'm also constipated. If you'd like to know.
Today I ate-

Healthy Living Day 1
Today I woke up early again. I've been getting up around 7 something a.m. ever since I was fasting. I don't know why. Usually I'm a sleep till 10am kind of gal. But I guess being up that early allows me to feel like I'm not wasting the day. Also less sluggish. Perhaps my nightly sleep has improved to teh point I don't need as much? I don't know.
So Today is my first day of eating a normal healthy diet. My meals included-
8am- Breakfast- 2 scrambled eggs (only one yolk, though)
16oz (diluted) naked juice (blueberry one)
10am- 1 carrot, 1/2 'light' string cheese
12pm- 3 slices of deli 'natural' turkey on whole wheat pita bread, topped with "veggie cheese", mustard and raw spinach leaves.
1 glass of Naked 'green machine' juice (diluted)
1:30 I went to the gymand did 20 minutes on the treadmill and some (not much) arm strengthening exercises.
3pm- had 1 orange
5:30pm- had one plate of fresh steamed green beans and onions, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. (steamed from chicken broth, also)
I intend on having one more carrot stick tonight, and only water to drink.
My loss this morning was .4. It's not much, but it's better than a gain.

Breaking the Fast Day 3
So today I didn't drink much juice. Or water for that matter. I ended my juicing tonight with about 1/4 cup of brown rice. It was pretty bland. I was hoping for a big taste bud change, but, that's alright. I added sea salt, pepper and a tad bit of olive oil to it and it made it a little better.
I did have a few shots last night. Boy did I poo faced from that little bit. I must say, I did not give into the temptations of food! Which was fantastic because I woke up to a 2.2lb loss.
I'm expecting either a small loss or a stall on the scale tomorrow due to the rice. But once I get eating solids and have more strength and energy I will be hitting up that gym, baby!

Breaking the Fast Day 2
Today I drank only juice as with yesterday. Yesterday it was one certain juice (that also had veggies in it) and today I am alternating between that and a blueberry mixture. I had a a bout of diarreah though, but nothing major. Too much information, yeah? Haha.
I woke up with a surprising 1.4lb loss. i was expecting a gain or a halt since I went from zero calories to between 600-700 with juices yesterday. But you won't see me complaining about it.
I think I'm going to go ahead and have me a few shots of liquor. I know it will go through my system quicker, so if you choose to drink on these fasts, take it easy. No running aorund naked with a lampshade on your head.
My energy is good. I still get light headed every now and again, but nothing major. I was able to walk around a department store and live my day like normal, no weakness interfering.
I still find myself slightly craving foods. People around me ate biscuits and gravy and chilli dogs. I don't particularly like either so resistance was simple. However, once they busted out the hazelnut chocolate balls my mouth watered like a waterfall in a desert. Keep in mind this is Christmas season and the meals and desserts arent really going to be healthful.
So, I bid you goodnight with this update. Can't wait to be healthy!

Breaking the Fast Day 1 (evening)
I have drinken my diluted juice throughout the day. I am a bit light headed, but other than that, my spirits are very up and energized. I find that I'm quite excited and eagerly looking foward to being healthy and fit.
I have successfully turned away pizza rolls (that I love) and have strictly stuck to my juice only diet. I find right now my worst want is a cocktail or a few shots of vodka. Ha. I know exactly what that would lead to. And if you are a regular drinker you know too. The drunken munchies. And when you get the drunken munchies you can EAT. And with your inhabitions being lowered you will justify eating anything that's bad for you.
So, I must resist the alcohol and push forward. I'm not going to ruin my entire week because of one night of drinking. No, sir. I want that pair of size 12 jeans more than any vodka in any bottle. Hell, at this point I'd be thrilled with a size 16 believe it or not. An if you are as big as I am, you believe it.
So basically my mood is good, I'm thrilled about getting in all these nutrients through my veggie, fruit mix juice. I'm quite happy and pleased with the day and myself.

Breaking the Fast Day 1
Today I am breaking my 4 day water fast with juices. My first juice is "Naked" brand green machine. I selected this juice because of the vegatable content in it. It doesnt taste awful. Leaves a wierd taste in the back of my mouth though. I keep telling myself it's good and good for me so I can psychologicoly hype myself up into liking it.
My first glass is diluted (4oz juice, 4oz water)
I woke up today feeling like I could continue my fast. I had a renewed energy and no stomach hunger what-so-ever.
However, I am eager to hit the gym, so I must nourish my body appropriately. I plan on juicing for 3 days, then move onto solid food of fruits and vegatables for 2 days before i add nuts, seeds, and lean meats.
Though my fast has ended, I must applaud myself for the restraint and self discipline I showed throughout these last 4 days. I have given into NO temptations and I still stand my grounds regarding foods. I could binge is I wanted to right now, but not only will that make me sick, but it would also defeat the purpose of this fast. A common mistake people make when fasting is consuming the wrongs food and eating too much of it when they break a fast.
So, if you decide you want to do a short fast, I highly recommend reading up on it.
Although what I'm doing for the next three days is considered a "Juice Fast", it's far different from water, let me tell you. I also plan on taking my vitamin b complex LIQUID drops.
Taking a liquid drop instead of a pill is far mre beneficial. A pill more likely will not be absorbed due to your body's lack of digestion. Take the liquids!

Water Fast Day 4
I have decided this will be my last day of fasting. I am so weak and dizzy. I know these are common side effects of it, but at this point I would just rather consume some nutrients and work out. Im ready for that.
Tomorrow I will be starting Juicing for 3 days.
I woke up to a 2lb loss for a total of 10.4lbs gone. I am aware i will put back on about 5lbs or so, but this was a great start to my healthy eating diet. Once i am done with the 3 days of juicing and get onto healthier foods and boost my energy and metabolism I will begin going to the gym.
My mood is good. My mind is a bit foggy and I'm incredibaly lethargic. It's definently no fun these fasts. So if you intend on doing one and you are a first timer, I say do it for 3 days and no more.
This mornings weight- 258.2
Bring on the juice! I am so ready for this!

Water Fast Day 3 (evening)
This is the night of my 3rd day of water fasting. I have consumed no food or any other beverage besides purified water for 3 entire days. Originally this was supposed to be my last day, BUT, due to my tolerence and the fact I am in ketosis, I am choosing to continue this fast for a total of 5 days. I will see how I feel then.
Today I woke up with great energy and no hunger. Later in the afternoon I felt a tad fuzzy headed and chose to take a nap. My stomach growls but though it's empty it's not a 'hunger pang'. I find that imostly want to eat because I'm bored. My mood is just fine. No irritability as one might expect.
I took a shower and that helped me feel better. I find that i actually smell bad. Not a normal B.O. from working out, but just a strong odor I'm sure from the fact my body is detoxing so extremely.
I am still smoking cigarettes. I'm urinating frequently also, which can be very annoying.
So, all in all, day three was not a problem for me. I will continue on to day four and see how that turn out.

Water Fast Day 3 (morning)
Well, let me tell you, last night was awful. I felt so much hunger in my stomach I was sure I would give up. However, after researching the internet I found that hunger does not come from your stomach, but from your throat and mouth, Your stomach feels hunger bc it is detoxing (from processed foods and such), so I beared through it and I am so happy I did. (I also learned that the 2nd day is the hardest)
I am so glad I kept at it bc this morning I woke up to a 5lb loss! Thats right! AND I have a fuzzy white tongue! Which is fantastic because that means I am in ketosis! GREAT!
I was planning on quitting the water fast after today (Day 3) but I decided I will continue on to 5 days. I woke up to NO hunger, and a completely renewed energy. I feel great! It's an almost new kind of energy. No sluggish feeling I normally feel when I eat normally.
So I wanted to check in this morning to blog this feeling. It's fantastic!

Water Fast Day 2
Today is the 2nd day of my water fast. Hunger is still minimal as with yesterday. I feel as though there is a large air bubble in my stomach.
I, once again, havent consumed enough water. But it's just after 4pm, so there is still time. However, I am urinating quite frequently.
Both my mood and energy levels are still good. The house here has been filled with delicious aromas of food. Between hot dogs, french fries, home made chicken soup, I was on the brink of giving into even just a mere morsel... but I held back. And i am quite pleased with myself.
I also took a detox bath for about 20 minutes. I must say, suprisingly when i got out I reaked of B.O. Seriously, it was horrendoues. Goes to show how much junk my body really is trying to exrete. That's unfortunate.
I am still smoking cigarettes, though.

Water Fast Day 1
Today is the ending of my 1st day of water fasting. I chose to begin my diet with this because the cleansing benefits can only kick start my weight loss journey.
I have consumed nothing today but water. Although I feel like maybe I didn't drink enough of it today, I'm hoping for a drop in the scale tomorrow. Another thing is on a water fast you arent to smoke cigarettes, however, I cant just cut out cigarettes AND food... so I am still smoking.
Some problems I hope will go away or lesson the symptoms, with a good cleansing and losing a large amount of weight...
I have pitting edema pretty bad in my legs
I have IBS (hoping for an easing of symptoms)
I have ulcers (and repeated acid reflux)
I have heel spurs (bone fragments that stick into my heel from carrying all this weight)
I have arthritis in my left knee
I have high cholesterol
A bit about me regarding this diet...
I am female, 26 years old, regular smoker and drinker. I have 2 children (I gained 100lbs from my 1st pregnancy)
My current weight as of this morning is 268.8lbs. My goal is 168. I carry most of my weight in my mid section.
So, there ya have it. We will see what tomorrow brings!
